The Moriah Phase II project for the Town of Moriah was an essential initiative, focusing on the replacement of aging water and sewer mains. This comprehensive effort involved the installation of new gravity sewer mains, service lines, and connections, ensuring the community had efficient and reliable sewage systems. Simultaneously, we installed new water mains and services, further enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Our commitment extended beyond utilities. Following the installation work, we embarked on a total road reconstruction for two streets. This approach ensured that not only were the underground systems modern and dependable but also that the roadways above met the highest standards of safety and convenience.
Moriah, perched on the hillside overlooking Lake Champlain, is a town with a rich history and a unique tradition. In the winter, the frozen lake becomes a canvas for centuries-old ice fishing, with vibrant ice shanties dotting the landscape. Interestingly, members of the Manfred crew often join in this tradition during the winter months when they're not hard at work. It's these connections to local traditions and communities that make our work even more meaningful.
