The West Elm Street project in Oneida, NY, was a pivotal endeavor aimed at bringing essential municipal water and sewer distribution to local residents. Additionally, this initiative played a vital role in supporting the significant Empire Farms Greenhouse development, a celebrated economic catalyst for the area.

Our contribution to this transformative project included the installation of over 10,000 linear feet of new 12” Ductile Iron water main, providing residents with reliable access to clean water. Simultaneously, we laid 10,000 linear feet of new 12” PVC sewer line, significantly enhancing sanitation services. The project also featured the construction of 27 manholes and 15 fire hydrants, ensuring safety and convenience for the community.

We tackled the challenge of boring 24” castings under several streets, showcasing our commitment to innovative solutions. To complete the infrastructure, a new pump station with advanced controls was installed, contributing to the efficient operation of the system.

Our dedication to this project did not go unnoticed. The Central New York branch of the American Public Works Association recognized it as the "Economic Development Project of the Year," with Manfred Construction, Inc. proudly named as the contractor. At Manfred Construction, we are honored to play a role in projects that not only enhance daily life for residents but also drive economic growth in the communities we serve.
