The LeRay Drive road reconstruction project, situated within the Fort Drum Air Base, stands as a testament to our commitment to enhancing the infrastructure that serves this vital military installation.
This project involved a complete revitalization of LeRay Drive, including essential aspects such as new drainage, concrete gutters, walks, and the addition of asphalt bike paths. The aim was to create a road that not only functions seamlessly but also promotes safety and accessibility for those who use it.
LeRay Drive holds a special significance on Fort Drum, as it leads to the historic LeRay Mansion, constructed in 1808. This mansion was once the residence of Jacques LeRay, a Frenchman who played a pivotal role in the American Revolution. He stands as the single largest financial supporter of the Revolution, even outspending the French Government in the war effort.
At Manfred Construction, we take pride in our part in maintaining the legacy of this historically rich area and ensuring that its infrastructure is of the highest quality for the military personnel and visitors who travel these historic paths.
