The Sicily Road Reconstruction project stands as a testament to our commitment to Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes' ongoing efforts to revitalize and enhance the base's infrastructure.
This undertaking involved the complete reconstruction of one mile of road, encompassing critical aspects such as excavation, drainage improvements, subgrade placement, precise fine grading, and the expert laying of asphalt pavement. Additionally, we installed new concrete gutters, walks, and asphalt bike paths to promote accessibility and safety.
Situated within one of the largest military facilities in the Northeast, Fort Drum, home to the esteemed 10th Mountain Division, this project is more than just roadwork. It's about supporting the readiness and well-being of our dedicated service members. At Manfred Construction, we're proud to be a part of this mission, ensuring that our military personnel have top-notch infrastructure to support their training and service, even in challenging terrains and conditions.
